Maryland fans can catch head football coach Ralph Friedgen several times this week as the coach will hit the airwaves in advance of this Saturday's annual spring game.
On Tuesday, Friedgen appears live on News Channel 8's "Sports Talk with Glenn Harris." Viewers can call in (703-387-1020) and ask questions of the Terrapins' grid mentor during the show, which airs from 9:30 to 10:00 p.m.
On Wednesday, April 23rd, "The Fridge" will appear live again on Comcast SportsNet's SportsNite as he will join in after the Terrapins complete their final regular practice session of the spring at Byrd Stadium. His appearance on SportsNite is slated for approximately 6:45 p.m.
The full media week continues on Thursday for Friedgen as he will join local/national sports personality George Michael of Washington, D.C.'s Channel 4 live in the studio for a 5:50 p.m. interview.
At Saturday's annual spring game -- which starts with a 3:00 p.m. team autograph session before a 4:00 p.m. kickoff -- WMAL Radio (630 AM) will broadcast live from Byrd Stadium. The station will kick things off with a pre-game show from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. with Friedgen and players among the featured guests before continuing the broadcast later up to and an hour into kickoff (from 3:00 - 5:00 p.m.).
