Terps Travels To NC State With Hopes Of First Conference Win

COLLEGE PARK, Md. - The Maryland Terrapins find themselves on the road again, this time traveling to NC State to partake in their fifth straight conference match. After Sunday's match, only one team will remain winless in the ACC, as both the Terps and the Wolfpack are winless in conference play.

On the season, the Wolfpack is 4-13, 0-5 in the ACC. NC State has struggled this spring, having retained only two players from last season. First year head coach Jon Choboy has four new faces to collegiate tennis on his roster this year, making for a very young squadIn their most recent match, the Pack fell to No. 8 Duke, 7-0, on April 2.

Last season, the Terrapins broke NC State's nine-match win streak against the Terps, with a 4-3 win in College Park. The Terps are 9-8 on the season, 0-5 in the ACC. After facing off against the Wolfpack, the Terps return home to close out their regular season. Only three matches remain on the schedule for the Terps.

Action at the Cary Tennis Center will begin at noon on Sunday, April 6.
