University of Maryland women's lacrosse players Sonia Judd and Acacia Walker will be making a pair of appearances on local television this weekend.
The duo will first appear on Prince George's Cable TV (Channel 76) as they will be guests on the station's Inside Sports show. Inside Sports will air today at 5:00 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. and then again on Wednesday, June 4th at 7:30 p.m.
Judd and Walker's next appearance will take place this Sunday on WUSA-TV's Sports Plus show, hosted by Frank Herzog. WUSA -- Washington, D.C.'s Channel 9 -- airs Sports Plus at 11:00 p.m. on Sunday night and Judd and Walker will appear on this Sunday's show.
The Maryland women's team went 18-4 this past year, making its way to the NCAA Final Four while winning the regular and postseason Atlantic Coast Conference titles. Judd, a senior, was the second-leading scorer on this year's team with 74 points and Walker -- just a sophomore -- was third with 62 while leading the team in assists (33). Both were named to the recent IWLCA All-American team with Judd earning a spot on the first team and Walker the third.
