The University of Maryland's Chrissy Fisher (Rumson, N.J.) has been named to the womenscollegehoops.com's third annual freshmen All-American awards list. The teams and honorable mention selections were choosen by the website as those players who not only performed the best at their position, but also had a major positive impact on their team on both ends of the court.
Fisher was also named to the 2003 ACC all-freshman team after averaging nearly nine points and five rebounds a game and adding 30 assists.
