Coppedge ACC Player of the Week

GREENSBORO, N.C. - Maryland's Kelly Coppedge was named this week's Atlantic Coast Conference Women's Lacrosse Player of the Week, after leading the Terrapins to three wins over ranked opponents last week.
In the Terps' 11-8 victory over No. 11 Dartmouth, Coppedge scored two goals and dished out one assist for three points. She also notched four ground balls, caused two turnovers and had three draw controls.
Later in the week, the Annapolis, Md., native scored two goals, while posting a game-high five ground balls and adding one caused turnover and two draw controls in Maryland's 12-11 decision over No. 20 Penn State.
In the final game of the week, the senior midfielder led the Terps to a 14-4 win over No. 18 Ohio State, with game-highs in goals (5) and caused turnovers (4), in addition to three ground balls and one draw control.
Coppedge is closing in on second place at Maryland for career goals and is moving up for career points. She has 183 career goals, trailing only Kelly Amonte for second all-time. Coppedge also has 252 career points, currently fifth-best in Terrapin history.
