Brick Takes Home Three Awards at President's Cup Luncheon

COLLEGE PARK, Md. - Having just completed her final year of eligibility with the Terps, Terps' senior Vicki Brick was awarded three honors at the annual President's Cup Luncheon over the weekend for her achievements in academics and commuinty service.

A captain this season, Brick (Timonium, Md./McDonough) earned the Academic Achievement honor, given to the junior or senior from each team with the highest grade point average. Brick graduates this May with a degree in kinesiology.

She was also cited with two community service recognition, garnering the Atlantic Coast Conference Community Service Award, awarded to the top six student-athletes exhibiting outstanding community service, and the department's Community Service Award, given to the student-athlete who has excelled in the are of public service to the community.

Brick leaves College Park with her name stamped in the record books. She ranks in the top 10 in career assosts (10th - 364) and career steals (7th - 225). She helped lead the squad to the team's first NCAA Tournament bid since 2001 and first tournament victory in 12 years.

The event, held at the campus Inn and Conference Center, was sponsored by the M Club, the organization comprised of previous Terrapin letter winners.
