Coppedge, Cox Named Inside Lacrosse All-Americans

COLLEGE PARK, Md. - Maryland's Kelly Coppedge and Delia Cox were named First Team All-Americans by Inside Lacrosse. The duo combined for a total of 119 goals and 32 assists on the year for 151 in helping to lead Maryland to a 15-5 record and an appearance in the national quarterfinals.

Coppedge, a Tewaaraton Finalist, posted another terrific season leading the team in goals (72), assists (26), points (98), ground balls (64) and caused turnovers (33). She is a three-time All-ACC selection and a three-time All-American.

Cox, the 2003 Inside Lacrosse Rookie of the Year, did not suffer through a sophomore slump as she scored 47 goals and six assists on the season. The All-ACC pick had memorable six-goal games against No. 7 Syracuse and No. 1 Princeton.
