Recap |  Box Score |  Quotes

• Maryland's victory is their seventh in a row, improving their record to 21-2, 8-1 in the ACC. It is their best start since the 1988-89 season, when they ran their record to 29-2.

• The victory give the Terps their first regular season sweep of Virginia since 1989. They defeated the Cavaliers in Charlottesville, Va., 84-74 in overtime, on Jan. 20.

• The victory ensures the Terps of their first winning record in ACC play since the 1996-97 season. They have finished with a .500 record in each of the last two seasons.

• For the ninth time this season, at least five Terps scored in double digits. Laura Harper, Shay Doron, Kristi Toliver, Crystal Langhorne, and Marissa Coleman all reached double figures. It is the first time the Terps accomplished this since five Terps scored in double figures in a 75-57 victory over Florida State on Jan. 16 in College Park.

Laura Harper recorded her third double-double of the season, booking 17 points and 10 rebounds.

Shay Doron scored 23 points, marking the second straight game and the seventh overall this season in which she eclipsed 20 points. It is the 18th game this season in which she has reached double figures.

Kristi Toliver finished with 16 points and 9 assists. It is the 10th time that she has reached double figures and is just 1 point shy of her career high, last set on Jan. 23 in a 68-63 win at Virginia Tech.

Crystal Langhorne recorded 10 points and 9 rebounds. It was the 20th time this season that she reached double figures. She now has 923 points on her career, leaving her just 77 points of 1,000. Should she reach the milestone by the end of the regular season, she would become the fastest Terp to 1,000 and the only sophomore to have reached the mark.

Marissa Coleman poured in 11 points, marking the 18th game this season and the 4th game in a row in which she has reached double digits.

• With her first point of the game, Shay Doron became the 14th player in Maryland women's basketball history to reach the 1,300 point plateau. She finished the game with 1,322 points, leaving her 27 points shy of Stephanie Cross for 13th place on the Terps' all-time scoring list. Cross put up her 1,349 points between 1995-98.

Shay Doron's 12-13 from the free throw line gives her 381 made free throws in her career at Maryland, leaving her just 5 behind the all-time leader, Deedee Warley. Warley hit 386 of her 543 free throw attempts (.711) between 1999-2002.
