Maryland Athletics announced today that it has sold out its entire NCAA allotment of 2006 Women's Final Four tickets. The Terrapin Ticket Office sold its initial allotment of 800 tickets and then secured the maximum additional allotment of 50 tickets from the NCAA. All 850 Final Four tickets were sold in less than 72 hours.
"Maryland Women's Basketball fans are a passionate group," said director of athletics Deborah A. Yow. "We are extremely proud that the Terps' section in the Garden will be red and loud."
Earlier this week, Maryland announced special season ticket offers for 2006-07 to celebrate the team's berth in the Final Four. These limited-time offers expire on April 30.

Final Four RENEWAL Season Ticket Special -- Existing season ticket holders can renew their same seats at 2005-06 prices, receive 4 free tickets to a home game of their choice, and receive a limited-edition, commemorative ticket sheet autographed by Brenda Frese and the entire Maryland Women's Basketball team, if they renew by April 30.
