The National Cheerleaders Association will be airing the Division I All-Girl National Championship on Fox Sports Net on May 2 at 3 p.m. local time. Only the top three routines will be aired, and only Maryland's routine will be showed in full.
Assistant Coach Jarnell Bonds is thrilled at being able to re-live the moment Maryland won the title.
"Nothing compares to seeing the excitement of the crowd and the level of perfection that the girls performed with in Daytona. I can't wait to see it all again."
The broadcast is also valuable for national exposure.
"The team won the respect and admiration of all the teams down in Daytona, and of everyone here at Maryland...and now it's time for the rest of the nation to see what a talented team we produced this year."
While the coverage will be thrilling for this year's team, Bonds recognizes what it can do for Maryland in the future.
"I know that the national broadcast will be a priceless recruiting tool. All of the prospective athletes watching will be interested in us after they see the perfection the girls performed with. We have a team of marvelous performers and athletes which can only be appreciated through a visual broadcast of the routine."
The Division IA broadcast took place April 22 at 2 p.m. on FSM.
