INDIANAPOLIS - The NCAA and Habitat for Humanity International have formed a three-year partnership called the "Home Team," in an effort to raise funds for Habitat for Humanity. The NCAA is providing an exciting opportunity to fans to purchase autographed commemorative basketball not available to the general public.

The "Home Team" partnership was formed to raise funds and provide volunteer labor to assist in the long-term rebuilding efforts in the Gulf coast areas devastated by hurricanes Katrina and Rita. The Women's Basketball Coaches Association (WBCA) was one of the first to join the NCAA's fundraising and rebuilding efforts. The NCAA and the national office have pledged a total of $2.5 million to the "Home Team" Partnership.

For a limited time only, four commemorative silver Wilson leather basketballs embossed with the 2006 NCAA Women's Final Four logo will be signed by the four head coaches - Brenda Frese, Maryland; Gail Goestenkors, Duke; Sylvia Hatchell, North Carolina and Pokey Chatman, Louisiana State - who participated in the 2006 NCAA Women's Final Four in Boston. Don't miss your chance to own a piece of history from the 25th NCAA Women's Final Four.

In another exclusive offer, one commemorative silver Wilson leather basketball embossed with the Women's 25th Anniversary logo and autographed by the greatest athletes to have played in the past 25 years - Bridgette Gordon, Tennessee; Chamique Holdsclaw, Tennessee; Cheryl Miller, Southern California; Sheryl Swoopes, Texas Tech and Diana Taurasi, Connecticut - and legendary Tennessee coach Pat Summit, will be available for auction.

All proceeds from the auction will benefit Habitat for Humanity.
