Junior Kristi Toliver's seven assists moved her into 14th place all-time at Maryland. Toliver passed Jasmina Perazic and now sits on 344 in her career, 10 short of Terri Daniels for 13th place.
Toliver set a season high in points, dropping 25 points on 10-for-15 shooting.
Toliver was 5-for-7 from 3-point range. The five triples set a season high and was just one short of her career high.
Maryland senior center and preseason AP all-American Crystal Langhorne missed her third game out of four this season. Langhorne is day-to-day with a sprained ankle.
Senior Jade Perry started in Langhorne's absence for the third time this season, recording eight rebounds and scoring three points.
The Terps' victory over the Fighting Irish was their fourth in the five all-time contests between the two schools. It was the first meeting since 1987.
Senior forward Laura Harper posted her second double-double of the season, setting season highs in points (17) and rebounds (13). It was Harper's 12th career double-double.
Harper is now 61 points shy of 1,000 for her career.
The Notre Dame victory was the Terps' second this season against a ranked opponent. The Terps play their third ranked opponent of the season Sunday against No. 4/4 LSU.
Junior Marissa Coleman reached double figures for the fourth straight game to start the season. Coleman scored 12 points.
Coleman's eight rebounds marked the third time in four games, she has grabbed at least eight boards.
Senior Ashleigh Newman's second-half 3-pointer was the third time this season she has knocked down at least one trey and the 31st game of her career with at least one 3-pointer.
