• Senior Laura Harper's lay-up with 16:41 remaining in the second half gave the forward career points 1,000 and 1,001. Harper is the 24th player in Maryland history to reach the 1,000-point milestone along with current teammates Crystal Langhorne and Marissa Coleman.
• Harper's 21 points were a new season high and her first 20-point game since Jan. 19, 2007 against Virginia, when she scored 21 points. It was the sixth 20-point effort of her career.
• Langhorne posted her first double-double of the season, scoring 15 points and grabbing 13 rebounds. It was the eighth time in nine games at least one Terp has recorded a double-double. It was Langhorne's 45th career double-double.
• With her 13 boards, Langhorne now has 960 in her career, only eight behind Maryland's all-time leading rebounder, Vicky Bullett, at 968.
• Junior guard Kristi Toliver's four assists put her at 376 in her career, only five away from moving into 10th place all-time at Maryland. Toliver's 20 points leave her only 23 shy of 1,000 for her career.
• With the victory, the Terps are now 7-0 all-time against the Panthers. It was the first meeting between the two schools since 1982.
• The Terps are now an impressive 46-14 all-time against teams currently in the Big East.
• Langhorne made her first start of the season since the Oklahoma victory on Nov. 11. It was Langhorne's second start of the season, overall.
