Maryland has had at least one player with a double-double in 13 of its 16 games.
Crystal Langhorne recorded her third double-double of the season with 15 points and 15 rebounds, the 47th of her career. The 15 rebounds were a season-high, topping her previous high of 13 against Pittsburgh.
The only women's basketball player in school history with at least 1,000 career rebounds, Crystal Langhorne now has 1,018, just 35 short of the Maryland overall record (men's or women's) which is held by Len Elmore (1,053).
Marissa Coleman had 18 points in the first half and finished with a team-high 23 points, moving her into 18th place on Maryland's all-time scoring lists with 1,221.
Coleman added 10 rebounds for her sixth double-double of the season and 22nd of her career. Coleman also tied a season high in 3-pointers made with four.
Coleman's 10 boards gave her 685 in her career, moving her into 11th place all-time at Maryland, passing teammate Laura Harper.
Senior Jade Perry set a career high in free throws attempted with 12.
Kristi Toliver has had at least seven assists in 12 games this season, including seven today against Richmond.
Maryland shot better than 50 percent for the eighth time this season. The Terps are unbeaten in those games.
Senior Ashleigh Newman moved into third place all-time at Maryland in games played with 120. If she plays in the next four games, she will break the school record for consecutive games played.
With the victory over the Spiders, the Terps now own a 5-2 edge in the all-time series. Maryland head coach Brenda Frese is 1-1 against Richmond in her career.
