The win today improves Maryland's record to 28-5.
The Terrapins will advance to the second round of the NCAA Tournament, where they will play the Ole Miss Running Rebels, who defeated the TCU Lady Frogs.
The Terrapins have advanced to the second round of the NCAA Tournament for the fourth consecutive year.
The Terps had four players in double figures. It is the 32nd time in 33 games that Maryland has had at least three players score ten or more (and the 27th time in 33 games with at least four in double figures).
Every Terrapin who played in today's game registered at least four points.
Maryland swiped 15 steals, just one shy of matching a season high. They had 16 steals at Loyola on December 21.
Sa'de Wiley-Gatewood made her first start of the season, finishing with four points and two assists in 19 minutes. This was also the first NCAA Tournament game for Wiley-Gatewood.
For senior Shay Doron, today marked the 118th start of her career. She moved past Marche Strickland, who started 117 games from 1999-2002, to set a Maryland all-time record in that category.
Doron also set a Maryland record for most postseason games played. This was her eleventh appearance, breaking a tie with Dafne Lee, who played in 10 games from 1989-92.
Doron and Crystal Langhorne both tied Christy Winters for the most starts in the postseason. Each now has nine postseason starts.
Doron poured in 21 points, her highest total since scoring a season-high 22 on November 17 against TCU. Doron, who remains in second place on the Maryland all-time scoring list, now has 1,869. Vicky Bullett remains in first place with 1,928.
With three steals on the day, Doron now has 221 thefts in her career. She moved past Vicky Bullett, who had 220 between 1986-89, to go into eighth place on the Terrapins' all-time list.
Crystal Langhorne registered 12 points, giving her 1,697 in her career.
Langhorne's 12 points mark the ninth time in nine NCAA tournament appearances that she has reached double figures. It is the eighth consecutive game in which she has had at least 12 points.
Kristi Toliver knocked down 13 points, marking the eighth consecutive game in which she has scored in double figures.
Aurelie Noirez tied a season high with her eight points. Noirez also poured in eight at Northern Iowa on December 6. The eight points marks a career high in the NCAA Tournament for Noirez.
Jade Perry knocked down nine points, the most in an NCAA tournament game since last year's first round matchup against Sacred Heart, in which Perry registered 20.
