Postgame Notes
-The win improves Maryland's record this season to 27-4. With the victory, they advance to the ACC Tournament semifinal against the #2 seed North Carolina, which defeated #7 Virginia Tech 90-60.
-The Terrapins shot .592 from the field, their best percentage since a season-high .667 against Siena on December 4.
-For the 30th time in the Terps' 31 games, at least three players reached double figures. Crystal Langhorne had 18, Marissa Coleman had 16, and Kristi Toliver scored 12. Coleman and Langhorne both were in double figures less than 15 minutes into the game.
-For Langhorne, it was the 93rd time in her 101 career games that she reached double figures. She has scored at least 11 points in all seven of her career ACC Tournament games.
-Langhorne is now tied with Christy Winters (1985-90) for third place on the Maryland all-time points list. Her 18 points on the day give her 1,679 in her career.
-Langhorne's nine rebounds bring her career total to 917. She moves into the top 25 in the history of the ACC, passing Sharon Manning of N.C. State who pulled down 912 from 1988-91.
-Marissa Coleman eclipsed the 900-point plateau early in the first half, as she had nine of the Terps' first 15 points. Coleman, who had 16 points on the day, currently stands at 910 career points.
-Coleman tied her ACC Tournament best with those 16 points. Coleman, who has played in four ACC Tournament games, has scored at least 13 points in each of her tournament appearances.
-Coleman also pulled down 11 rebounds, good for her 17th career double-double and second at the ACC Tournament. Her eighth of the season, it is also her third double-double in a row.
-Laura Harper rejected five shots, tying her career high for blocked shots in a game. She has blocked 59 shots this season, tying Kris Krichner (1979-80) for the third-most blocks in a season by a Terp.
-Shay Doron dished out her 400th career assist during the game. Doron, who had three assists on the day, was the eighth Terrapin to reach the 400-assist milestone. She now stands at 401 in her career, good for eighth all-time at Maryland. She is just one assist behind Marcia Richardson (402 from 1981-84) for seventh.
-Doron extended her school record for the most games played. Today was the 131st appearance of Doron's illustrious career.
-Doron pulled to within one start of the Maryland record for most times in the starting lineup. Her 116th start leaves her just one behind Marche Strickland, who started 117 games from 1999-2002.
-Doron is now within 100 points of the all-time record for points at Maryland. Her eight points give her 1,835 in her career, just 93 behind the record of 1,928 held by Vicky Bullett.
