Spring Football Game to be Aired on Comcast

COLLEGE PARK, Md. - The University of Maryland football team closed its 2007 spring season on Saturday with the annual Red-White game at Chevy Chase Bank Field at Byrd Stadium and fans will have an opportunity to view a tape-delay broadcast of the game.

The contest will be replayed at 7 p.m. Wednesday on Comcast SportsNet. The 90-minute telecast will be aired again at 11 a.m. Sunday on Comcast.

The WMUC broadcast team of Nick Verderame, Sam Duvall and John Willmott called the action.

Running back Morgan Green rushed for 92 yards, Chris Turner completed 11 of 15 passes and wide receiver LaQuan Williams hauled in a touchdown pass to carry the White team to a 27-10 victory.
