"It's always exciting when you release your schedule for the upcoming season - it gets everybody's juices flowing," said Pensky. "As always, we have one of the toughest schedules in the country - simply by virtue of being in the ACC. Of the Top 21 ranked recruiting classes in the country for `07, seven come from our conference."

Maryland soccer season tickets will be on-sale soon. To reserve season tickets, fans can order on-line, call the Terrapin Ticket Office at 301-314-7070 or 800-426-TERP (462-8377), or visit the Terrapin Ticket Office at the Comcast Center from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday-Friday.

After hosting a preseason scrimmage against Connecticut, which was also a 2006 tournament team, and Richmond in College Park, the Terps open the 2007 season with a pair of home games at Ludwig Field against Eastern Kentucky and Fairleigh Dickinson on the weekend of August 31 and September 2.

Maryland then hits the road and heads to Bloomington, Ind., for the Hoosier Classic against a pair of '06 NCAA qualifiers. The Terps will face USC on September 7 before taking on Loyola Marymount on September 9.

Maryland then returns to College Park for two non-conference games against Dartmouth and George Mason on September 14 and 16, respectively.

The ACC schedule kicks off with a road trip to historic Riggs Field and a meeting with the Clemson Tigers on September 27. The Terps will then conclude their non-conference schedule with a September 30 game against Lehigh in College Park.

From there a pair of weekend ACC home games begins with the lone women's-men's doubleheader on October 5. The Terrapin women get things started with a 5 p.m. game against Wake Forest. Maryland then hosts defending national champion North Carolina on October 7 in a 1 p.m. start.

The Terps then face four-straight road conference games, beginning with a trip to the Sunshine State for meetings with Florida State and Miami on October 11 and 14, respectively. The Terps will then have a week off before heading to Durham, N.C., to play Duke on October 21. A trip to Charlottesville, Va., on October 25 to play Virginia closes out the regular season road schedule.

The ACC schedule concludes with three straight home games. Virginia Tech comes to College Park on October 28 with Boston College battling the Terps on November 1. The 2007 regular season will conclude with "Senior Day" on November 4 against NC State.

The ACC Tournament will be held on November 7-11 in Orlando, Fla., at the Disney's Wide World of Sports Complex. The 2007 NCAA Tournament will begin on November 16 with the first three rounds being held at campus sites. The 2007 College Cup is being hosted by Texas A&M at the Aggie Soccer Stadium. The semifinals are set for December 7, with the finals taking place on December 9.
