Maryland's victory was its first against Duke since the 2005-2006 national championship game victory and the first regular-season win since Feb. 3, 2000. It was the first home win against Duke since Jan. 30, 1998.

Junior Kristi Toliver scored 21 points, her sixth 20-point game of the season. It is the second time this season Maryland has had two players score 20 points or more. Crystal Langhorne and Laura Harper did it Jan. 6 against Clemson.
The victory was Maryland's fourth against a ranked team this season. It was the ninth time the Terps have beaten a ranked Duke team. The 15-point win was the largest against Duke since March 5, 1994.
