• With her third bucket of the game at 10:51 in the first half, senior Crystal Langhorne became Maryland's all-time scoring leader, breaking Vicky Bullett's (1986-89) mark of 1,928. Langhorne now owns both the Maryland rebounding record (men's and women's) and the women's scoring record. She now has 1,944 points and 1,087 rebounds in her career.
• The Terrapins trailed for the first time all season at halftime, 34-33. They have not led only one other time at the break, tying James Madison 33-33 on Dec. 20, 2007.
Crystal Langhorne recorded her 51st double-double of her career and the seventh of the season. She is the ACC's active leader in the category. The Terps have had at least one Terrapin with a double-double in 18 of their 22 games.
• Freshman Marah Strickland scored a career-high 19 points vs. the Cavs. Her previous high was 14 set against then-No. 6 Oklahoma on Nov. 11, 2007.
Crystal Langhorne tied the all-time record for most career starts, making her 119th, tying former Terrapin Shay Doron, who made 119 starts in her career from 2004-07.
• For the fourth-straight game, Maryland's high scorer has scored at least 20 points.
• Maryland has had four players reach double figures for the ninth time this season. At least three have scored in double digits in every game.
• With the win, the Terps have won the last five meetings between the teams, the first time they have won six in a row since 1989.
• Maryland is 5-0 in ACC play for the first time since 1992, when it started conference play 10-0.
