Postgame Notes
With her second three pointer of the game with 6:06 remaining in the first half, junior Kristi Toliver broke Maryland's all-time three-point shooting record. Toliver broke Tiffany Brown's record of 172 made threes from 1997-2000.
Kristi Toliver also ranks in a tie for 23rd all-time in the ACC with 173 made threes.
Senior Crystal Langhorne posted her fifth double-double of the season with 15 points, 10 rebounds. It was also the 49th of her career. She now holds Maryland's all-time rebounding record with 1,038 boards.
Langhorne is now just 15 rebounds from tying the Maryland overall rebounding record, men's or women's, held by Len Elmore (1,053.)
The 13 first-half points Wake Forest scored were the fewest points Maryland has allowed to an opponent in the opening stanza.
Playing in front of a hometown crowd and 10 miles from her hometown of Kernersville, N.C., freshman Kat Lyons tied a career high with nine points going a perfect 3-for-3 from three-point range.
Maryland has had at least three players score in double figures in every game this season.
The Terrapins have had at least one player with a double-double in 15 of their 18 games this season.
Maryland is now 23-8 all-time in ACC openers.
