COLLEGE PARK, Md. - The Terrapin women's basketball team finds out its NCAA Tournament fate on Monday night when the brackets and seedings are announced on Monday night on ESPN at 7 p.m. Maryland will be one of four teams featured on the Selection Show as cameras will record the team's reaction to the announcement.
The Terps are expected to earn an at-large bid and make their 17th NCAA Tournament appearance, their fifth-straight under head coach Brenda Frese. Maryland will play its first and second rounds at Comcast Center, regardless of seeding. The games will take place on Sunday, March 23 and Tuesday, March 25. Seven other teams will be sent to Comcast Center.
The ticket office is already selling tickets to the event online at www.umterps.com. Fans can also purchase tickets by calling 1-800-IM-A-TERP or by visiting Comcast Center Ticket Office in person.
Maryland's tournament matchup, seeding and region will be announced immediately following the NCAA Selection Show. A full NCAA Tournament bracket will be available immediately on www.NCAAsports.com.
