Hey everyone!
We did it! Our season is finally over and we ended it with a NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP. Standing in the winner's circle and waiting to hear the last team's score, University of Louisville - our biggest rival, was the longest moment of my life. After our performance, we were a little uneasy, but that didn't stop us from taking the title for the third time. Once we got our trophy, the entire team, coaches and fans included, ran into the ocean, uniform and all. Nothing can describe winning a national championship, especially for the first time. Everyone had smiles on the moment we left the mat with the trophy to the moment we went back to our rooms after the celebration dinner. Today we have pictures on the beach, and then we get to hang out and relax one last time as a team before the seniors graduate. This weekend has been a dream come true.
