Terps Men's Tennis Making Final Road Trip of the Season

COLLEGE PARK, Md. - The No. 59 Maryland men's tennis team will embark on its final road trip of the regular season this weekend as the Terps travel to face the No. 62 Clemson and No. 50 Georgia Tech.

Maryland (9-7, 1-6) is in search of its 10th win of the season, and is looking to keep NCAA tournament hopes alive.

The Terps are led in the rankings by Amit Inbar, the No. 79-ranked singles player, and the pair of Andrew Orban and Boris Fetbroyt, the No. 8-ranked doubles team.

Clemson (13-14, 1-6) has lost five of its last six matches, with the only win coming against Longwood University. The Tigers' lineup features the No. 122-ranked singles player, Gera Boryachinskiy, a sophomore from Baltimore, Md.

Georgia Tech (11-9, 1-6) is riding a four-match losing streak, and features two ranked singles players in Guillermo Gomez (No. 70) and David North (No. 78), and the No. 43-ranked doubles team of Scott Blackmon and Ryan Smith.

The match against the Tigers will get underway at noon Saturday, in Clemson, S.C., and the match against the Yellow Jackets will start at 2 p.m. Sunday, in Atlanta, Ga. The match vs. Georgia Tech can be viewed on ACC Select.
