CLEMSON, S.C. - The No. 59 Maryland men's tennis team earned its 10th win of the season today with a 4-3 win at No. 62 Clemson.

The Terps (10-7, 2-6) were tied with the Tigers (13-15, 1-7) 3-3 before junior co-captain Nickolai Nielsen won at singles to clinch the victory for Maryland.

Terrapins Amit Inbar and Boris Fetbroyt won at No. 1 doubles, though the Terps lost the doubles point. Maryland also had singles wins from Andrew Orban, David Kwon, and Michael Coleman.

Playing at No. 3 singles, Kwon defeated Clemson's Kevin Fleck, 6-3, 6-1, to bring the Terps even in the team score, 1-1.

Playing in his first match since March 21 due to an injury, Orban earned a win at No. 2 singles against No. 122-ranked Gera Boryachinskiy in straight sets, 6-3, 6-2.

Following a singles loss by Fetbroyt to Ike Belk, the Terps drew even once again with a victory at No. 6 singles by Coleman. Maryland's only senior earned his fourth singles win of the season 6-3, 6-2, playing against Tino Elgner.

Inbar, the No. 79-ranked singles player, put up a valiant effort trying to secure the win for the Terps while playing at No. 1 singles, but fell short and lost to Carlos Alvarez, 5-7, 7-6, 6-3.

With the match score tied 3-3, Nielsen was the lone match left on the courts, as he easily put away Kevin Galloway, 6-2, 6-2, to close the match.

The Terps will be back in action tomorrow as they close out their regular season road schedule in Atlanta, Ga. with a match against No. 50 Georgia Tech. The match vs. Georgia Tech can be viewed on ACC Select.
