· Maryland improves their record to 5-1 while Howard falls to 1-4.
· The Terps improve to 5-0 at home this season and have won 41 consecutive home games, extending the school record.
· This was the 27th meeting between the Terps and Bison. Maryland owns the all-time series 26-1 (15-0, 10-1, 1-0).
· The Terrapins will return to action Sunday, Nov. 29 at 2 p.m. against Drexel.

· Line-up: Anjalé Barrett, Lynetta Kizer, Dara Taylor, Lori Bjork, Diandra Tchatchouang. This starting lineup is 2-1 on the season.
· Key run: The game was back and forth between the Terrapins and the Bison, until the Terps opened a large lead late in the first half. With 4:05 remaining in the half, Anjalé Barrett sparked the 12-4 run with a made free throw, which was followed by a jump shot made by Lynetta Kizer. The Terrapins’ largest lead in the game was 33 points with three minutes remaining in the game.
· Maryland has had three or more players post double-figure points in five games. The Terps are 5-0 when at least three players score 10 or more points. The leaders in tonight’s game were Tianna Hawkins (17), Lori Bjork (16), Diandra Tchatchouang (14) and Anjalé Barrett (11).
· The Terrapins overpowered Howard on the boards grabbing 49 rebounds to the Bison’s 34. Maryland has out-rebounded their opponent in all games except one (at Mississippi State, 42-41).

Individual Game Notes
· Freshman forward Tianna Hawkins was the Terps’ leading scorer, coming off the bench and contributing 17 points, a career high. Tonight marks the fourth time she’s scored in double-digits this season.
· Hawkins had her first career double-double tonight. She added 11 rebounds in the win. She shot 8-for-11 from the field.
· Senior guard Lori Bjork was an impressive 4-7 from outside the arc. She finished with 16 points, a new high as a Terp, and added two steals.
· Freshman forward Diandra Tchatchoaung filled the scoresheet tonight with 14 points, four rebounds, two assists, one block, one steal and shot 6-for-9 from the field.
· Sophomore center Yemi Oyefuwa pulled down six boards, her second-most this season (seven against North Carolina Central), in just nine minutes on the floor.
· Sophomore center Lynetta Kizer dished a career-high four assists.
