Maryland's record falls to 8-2, while Towson's is now 5-4.
Maryland still owns the all-time series over the Tigers, 10-5 (7-0, 2-3, 1-2).
The Terrapins will have ten days off for finals before heading across town to face American for a 2 p.m. matchup on Dec. 20.
Team Game Notes
Line-up: Tonight's starting lineup was made up of Anjale Barrett, Lori Bjork, Lynetta Kizer, Kim Rodgers and Diandra Tchatchouang. This new starting lineup is now 2-1 this season.
Three Terps broke the 10-point mark in today's game. They were led by Kim Rodgers (15), Tianna Hawkins (12), and Diandra Tchatchouang (10).
Maryland won the battle on the boards, 40-36, and has out-rebounded their opponent in all games except one (at Mississippi State, 42-41).
Individual Game Notes
Sophomore guard Kim Rodgers led the Terps with 15 points. She was 3-for-8 from outside the arc and grabbed six boards. She was a perfect 4-for-4 from the foul line. Over the last six games, she is 16-for-17 from the charity stripe.
Freshman forward Tianna Hawkins scored 12 points in the game off of 6-for-7 shooting from the field. She was also one of three Terps to grab six rebounds in her time on the court.
Freshman forward Diandra Tchatchouang scored ten points against the Tigers, her fifth consecutive game in double-digits. She was the Terrapins' leading rebounder with seven. With her three pointer with 12:22 on the clock in the second half, she extended her streak of games with a three-pointer to ten - one in each of Maryland's games this year.
Sophomore guard Anjale Barrett was the Terps' leader in assists with six. She also grabbed five rebounds.
