Maryland 86, Boston College 74

• Seniors Marissa Coleman and Kristi Toliver were honored before and after the game as their jerseys were hung from the Comcast Center rafters. The duo now has a career record of 119-18, and finishes their regular season home career with a Comcast Center record of 63-3. They potentially have two more games remaining, as Comcast Center will play host to the first two rounds of the NCAA Tournament.
• The win extends the Terrapins' home winning streak to 34 games. The Terps have not lost since the final home game of the 2006-07 season.
• Toliver and Coleman, who were freshman the year that Boston College entered the Atlantic Coast Conference, have never lost to the Eagles. Their record now stands at 9-0.
• There were no Senior Night butterflies for Coleman and Toliver, who scored the first 30 points for the Terrapins. The next Terp to score was Lynetta Kizer, whose layup put a third name on the stat sheet 13:06 into the first half.
• It was the second straight half of basketball in which Coleman and Toliver came out on fire for the Terps. They scored the team's first 27 points of the second half against No. 7/8 Duke on Sunday before Marah Strickland hit two free throws 10:54 into the period.
• For just the second time in their careers, Coleman and Toliver each scored at least 25 points in the same game. The first time was just two weeks ago, when Coleman put up 28 and Toliver had 25 in the win over Virginia on Feb. 12. Against the Eagles, Coleman finished with 32, while Toliver ended up with 27.
• Combining for 59 points, the senior duo saved their most prolific output for Senior Night. In fact, the three highest combined point totals for Coleman and Toliver have come in the past 15 days. Coleman had 32 and Toliver had 27 for a combined 59 tonight vs. Boston College, Coleman had 24 and Toliver had 34 for a combined 58 on Feb. 22 vs. Duke, and Coleman had 28 and Toliver had 25 for a combined 53 on Feb. 12 vs. Virginia.
• Coleman's 32 points marked a new career high. The previous best was 30, which she reached twice. The last time was January 14, 2008 against then-No. 10/13 Duke.
• Now with 2,032 points, Coleman is 10 points shy of 15th place in ACC history (Chasity Melvin, 2,042 for NC State from 1995-98).
• For Coleman, it was the sixth straight game she has put up at least 20 points. Prior to this stretch, Coleman had never reached the 20-point mark more than twice in a row.
• Coleman shot 12-for-19 from the field. The 12 field goals was a career high, and gave her 711 in her career. She became just the fourth Terp ever to hit at least 700 career field goals, and moved past Christy Winters (703 from 1987-90) for third place on the Maryland all-time list.
• Coleman also swiped one Boston College pass, leaving her just three steals shy of becoming the second player in ACC history with 2,000 points, 1,000 rebounds, 200 steals and 100 blocks (Clemson's Barbara Kennedy).
• Tonight's game was the 136th game Coleman has played in her career, breaking a tie with Crystal Langhorne for third place all-time for a Terp. Jade Perry is up next, with 139 games played.
Kristi Toliver's 27 points give her 1,928 in her career. That ties Vicky Bullett for third place on the all-time Terrapin list.
• With five assists, Toliver now has 718 in her career, extending her Maryland record. She is now just 10 helpers shy of third place overall in ACC history (Nikki Teasley had 728 for North Carolina from 1998-2000, 02).
• The start was the 120th of Toliver's career. That breaks a tie with Shay Doron for the third most in Maryland history.
• Anjale Barrett was 2-for-2 from beyond the arc. She improved her long-range shooting percentage in conference play to .700 (14-for-20), the best mark in the ACC.
