COLLEGE PARK, Md. -
The Maryland competitive cheer team won at Jamfest's Liberty Jam event over the weekend. This marked the team's last competition before heading to Florida for Nationals next month.
"The girls performed an energetic routine with minimal errors. The judges gave high marks in the standing tumbling and jump categories," said head coach Jarnell Bonds.
This was also the team's last performance with 25 girls on the floor. At nationals, they will compete with just 20.
The Terps will take a few days off this week over spring break before heading back to work for nationals in three weeks.
