Postgame Notes

• Maryland advanced to the Sweet 16 for the third time in four years.
• Maryland is now 26-16 (.619) all-time in the NCAA Tournament. The Terps are 8-2 all-time as a No. 1 seed and 8-7 in second-round games. Maryland is 11-2 in NCAA Tournament games in College Park, Md.
• The Terps improved to 2-0 all-time against Utah. Both meetings have come in the NCAA Tournament. The Terps defeated Utah, 75-65, in overtime in a 2006 regional final matchup.
• The Terps have now won 14 consecutive games. Their last loss came January 30 at Virginia.
• The Terps moved their home win streak to 36 games. The senior class of Kristi Toliver and Marissa Coleman finish their careers at Comcast Center with a 65-3 (.956) home record.
• Maryland head coach Brenda Frese is 14-4 (.778) in 18 career NCAA Tournament games at Maryland and 15-5 (.750) for her career.
• Seniors Kristi Toliver and Marissa Coleman played in their 14th career NCAA Tournament games, tying the school record with former teammates Ashleigh Newman and Crystal Langhorne. Coleman tied Langhorne for first place on Maryland's games started list in NCAA Tournament games, with 14.
• Coleman finished with 18 points and 18 rebounds. It was her ninth double-double of the season and 37th of her career. It was Coleman's fourth career double-double in an NCAA Tournament game. Coleman had 12 points and 10 boards at the half.
• With her double-double, Coleman moved into ninth place on the ACC's all-time scoring list and 10th place in ACC history in rebounds.
• Coleman's 18 rebounds set a new career high and tied Vicky Bullett for the most rebounds by a Maryland player in an NCAA Tournament game.
• Coleman now has 290 rebounds this season, which is the eighth-highest single-season total in school history as of now.
• Coleman also blocked two shots, tying her with Vicky Bullet for the most career blocks by a Terrapin in the NCAA Tournament with 14.
• Toliver went 4-for-4 from the free-throw line to improve her career NCAA Tournament free-throw percentage to 93.9 percent (31-for-33). Her career percentage from the charity stripe is now second best in NCAA Tournament history; Georgia's Kelly Miller shot at a 95.7 percent clip (44-for-46) from 1998-2001.
• Junior Demauria Liles also posted a double, scoring 12 points and grabbing a career-high 17 rebounds. It was Liles' ninth double-double of the season.
• Liles has 299 rebounds this season, the seventh-best single-season total in Maryland history, currently.
• Coleman set Maryland's all-time record for games played. It was her 142nd career game.
• With 37 minutes played, Toliver passed Crystal Langhorne to move into first place on Maryland's all-time list in minutes played in NCAA Tournament games (484 in 14 games).
• With six made field goals, Toliver moved into fifth place on Maryland's all-time list.
• Overall, Maryland out-rebounded Utah, 54-24. The Terps had more offensive rebounds, 25, than Utah had total rebounds. It was the least amount of rebounds by Utah in a game this season.
• Utah's Kalee Whipple made three 3-pointers, moving her into fifth place on Utah's all-time list.
• Whipple finished with a team-high 24 points. It was the 13th time this season she scored 20 or more points.
