GREENSBORO, N.C. - #1 Maryland 95, #4 North Carolina 84

• Maryland is the top seed in the tournament, the third time they have won the conference's regular season title. The Terrapins won the previous two tournaments, in 1979 and 1989. They are now 7-0 as the No. 1 seed in the ACC Tournament.
• Maryland advances to the ACC Championship Game for the twelfth time in its history and the first time since the 2006 event. The Terrapins' eight championships are tied with North Carolina for tops among all ACC schools.
• The Terps' win eliminates fourth-seeded North Carolina, which has claimed the last four titles.
Marissa Coleman finished with 29 points, her best mark at the ACC Tournament and just three points shy of a Maryland tournament record.
• Coleman now sits juts 10 points away from becoming the second Maryland player to reach 2,100 points in her career.
• With the start today, Coleman played her 139th game as a Terrapin, tying Jade Perry for second all-time with the program. Ashleigh Newman holds the Maryland record, having played in 141 games.
Kristi Toliver finished with 25 points in the victory, her best mark in an ACC Tournament game.
• Toliver did much of her damage from the free throw line, where she was a perfect 13-for-13, a new Maryland ACC Tournament record.
• Toliver is now just 21 points shy of becoming the third player in Maryland history to record 2,000 career points.
• For just the third time in their careers (and third in the last eight games), seniors Krist Toliver and Marissa Coleman each scored at least 25 points in the same game.
Kim Rodgers provided a lift off the bench for a second consecutive day, scoring 11 points for her first double-digit output since her debut at Loyola on Dec. 9.
• Rodgers also set new personal bests with two steals and two assists while playing a record 21 minutes.
