Maryland Head Coach Brenda Frese

Opening Statement:
"I thought it took us awhile in the first few minutes to start because of our bigs early foul trouble. Like I told them in the locker room, I like the fact that we were able to showcase our outside game tonight with our guard play. I thought we did a tremendous job being unselfish and just moving the basketball and obviously stepping up and making big shots. It was just a tremendous overall win tonight and I thought we did a terrific job."

On Brene Moseley's play:
"I thought it all came with the flow of the offense. I thought she was extremely patient and moved the ball extremely well. Obviously it gives us another dimension when you look at our team and on any given night we're able to put the ball in the basket like we're doing. For a freshman to come in with that kind of poise and confidence it just makes us better as a team and that's what we have to have."

On ball handling and the team's turnovers:
"We obviously need to improve in that area. We had too many turnovers, so it's an area we need to continue to improve at because some of the turnovers are on us and we have to clean up in terms of what we're doing. Luckily, we have plenty more games to do that."

On the team's outside successes:
"I thought overall our guard play was really good. We were able to get a lot of good skip passes, inside out, diagonal kicks and being shot read. Credit goes to our guards. I thought we clicked well on the perimeter tonight that we have to be able to have. This team can be very dangerous if we're able to put all these pieces together and have an inside and outside game."

On the team's performance:
"We're going to continue to play against great competition, so we have to continue to stay humble and hungry. Teams are going to try to find out how they can stop this team, whether is by guard play or post play, so we need to continue to keep working and not be satisfied and keep getting better."

On taking the team's talents on the road this weekend:
"I like how if you challenge this team, like Georgetown did, you could come into tonight with a letdown, but we didn't. I think that says a lot about the character of this team. Now we need to get ourselves prepared for a new dynamic, which is going on the road for the first time, but I like being 3-0 and to be able to go on the road and challenge this team to a new environment. You have to play better and be sharper. You can't have 18 turnovers when you go on the road, so we have to improve on that."

Freshman guard Brene Moseley

On her performance: "I was just taking what they were giving me. That's mainly it. They left me open, so I guess I just had the opportunity to knock it down. It feels good, but we need to go back tomorrow. I've got a lot to improve on, so I'm looking forward to that."

Senior guard Anjale Barrett

On if she's looking ahead to where this team could go in the NCAA Tournament:
"No I'm not thinking about that. I'm just having fun out there. Three games in, I'm looking forward to every day that I have on the court with this team, so I'm not really thinking about the tournament."

Senior guard Kim Rodgers

On her outlook on regular season games:
"When you're in your last year, every year is exciting as those last few games are going to be, so we're just treating it like that."

Sophomore guard Laurin Mincy

On her confidence:
"Last season I think my confidence wasn't there, so this season I have the coaching staff and my teammates bringing me up and giving me confidence. I'm more comfortable now than I was last year."

On playing point guard:
"Being at point guard is kind of new for me, but I have Anjale [Barrett] helping me out so I'm getting a feel for it. She tells me when to make certain passes, when to run certain offenses, basically when it's man or it's zone [defense], and things like that. [I'm going to do] whatever it takes for my team to win

Towson Head Coach Joe Mathews

Opening statement:
"Congratulations to Maryland. I thought they showed why they are one of the top 10 or 15 teams in the country at this point. Maryland played fantastic. They were terrific tonight. They shot the ball and they're capable of shooting the ball well and they did so tonight and if they shoot like they did tonight, they're a tough out. Credit to Brenda and her team."

On Maryland's play:
"Maryland just shot it well. They're big and athletic. We knew coming in they were willing to shoot the three, we just wanted to see if they could consistently make it. There isn't a lot of history with Bones (Brene Moseley) at this point and obviously she proved that she can [shoot]. Anjale [Barrett] is someone that's proven over the years that she can shoot the basketball. You've got to pick your poison. So we really tried to focus on taking [Alyssa] Thomas out as much as we could and tried to pack it in as well as we could. They're just well balanced and they shoot the basketball well."

On his team's effort:
"[I'm] not real happy with the way we responded in the first half. I thought we got caught up in how well they were shooting and hung our head a little bit and got frustrated. That's not our MO, [we got] a little bit better in the second half. But, again, we've got to use this to get better."
