Maryland to Face FSU in ACC Opening Round

GREENSBORO, N.C. - The Maryland men's tennis team will face Florida State in the opening round of the ACC Championship.
The Terrapins (11-11, 3-8), seeded ninth, will play the No. 8-seeded Seminoles (9-13, 4-7) at 9 a.m. Thursday at the Cary Tennis Center in Cary, N.C.
The winner of that match will take on No. 1 seed Virginia (26-0, 11-0), which is ranked No. 1 in the nation, at 9 a.m. Friday.
Maryland. led by second-year coach Kyle Spencer, is No. 48 in the country according to the latest Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) rankings, while Florida State checks in at No. 41.
The Seminoles edged the Terps, 4-3, on Sunday, April 10 in Tallahassee, Fla.
