    COLLEGE PARK, Md. - Maryland will hold its annual Red-White spring football game on Saturday. Kickoff is set for 3:30 p.m. at Capital One Field at Byrd Stadium.

    The game caps off the Terps' five-week spring practice period under first-year head coach Randy Edsall and culminates Maryland Day, an annual campus open house which gets underway at 10 a.m.

    Admission to the game is free. Gates will open at noon for an autograph session (12:30 to 1:30 p.m.) with Edsall and the players.

    Spring Game Information:

    Game Format: The roster will be divided, with the Red team facing the White squad under a normal game format with four 12-minute quarters.

    Capital One Field at Byrd Stadium Access: Gate I (south side) and Gate F (west side) will open at noon for the autograph session which will take place on the North concourse (under the upper deck). Remaining gates will open at 2 p.m. Click here for directions to Byrd.

    Selection Saturday: From noon to 3:30 p.m. fans will have an opportunity to select seats in our premium Mezzanine section or general public seating areas of the stadium for 2011 which features seven home games including the season opener vs. Miami (Sept. 5). Members of the Terrapin Club and the Maryland Ticket office will stationed at Gate F (west side).

    Pregame: Inflatable games will be set up in the west end zone (closed end of the stadium) for young Terp fans.

    Parking: Fans attending just the Red-White Spring Game should park in the Terrapin Trail Garage (TTG). Parking is free. Westbound traffic will take University Blvd (Rt. 193) to Paint Branch Drive (left turn) and make the first right to Terrapin Trail. All eastbound traffic on University Blvd will take Terrapin Trail (right turn) directly into the garage. Fans attending earlier Maryland Day festivities, then going to the game can park for free in the first available lot and walk to the stadium from other events. Lot 1, Stadium Drive Garage, and Regents Drive Garage will be available for convenient free parking early in the day. Click here to view a campus parking map.

    Radio Coverage: Game coverage will be available on WJZ 105.7 FM in Baltimore. The game will be streamed live over the internet through TerpsTV for free. Radio and streaming coverage begins at 3 p.m. Gary Stein (play-by-play) and Tim Strachan (color) will call the action.
