Team Game Notes
• Starting line-up: Anjale Barrett, Alicia DeVaughn, Tianna Hawkins, Laurin Mincy, Kim Rodgers
• It is the first time Maryland has utilized this lineup. The Terps had the same starting lineup for the first 20 games with Rodgers replacing an injured Alyssa Thomas tonight.
• The Terps outrebounded the Hokies 36-35. Maryland has won the battle of the boards in 19-of-21 games this season, and dating back to last year has outrebounded its opponents in 48 of the last 54 games.
• The Terps got 26 points off of the bench which is the most in conference play this season.
• Maryland scored 36 of its 69 points in the paint. It is the 18th time this season the Terps have scored 30 or more points in the paint.
• Maryland's defense held Virginia Tech to 20 points in the paint. The Terps have held opponents to 20 points or less in the paint in 13-of-21 games.
• The Terps shot 52 percent from the field (13-25) in the first half. Maryland has shot 50 percent or better in the first half in 12-of-21 games.
• Maryland's largest lead was eight points at the 15:58 mark of the second half.

Individual Game Notes
Lynetta Kizer notched her second double-double of the season and 30th of her career scoring 21 points and grabbing 10 rebounds to tie a season high.
Laurin Mincy scored 19 points and dished out five assists which is one shy of a career high. It is Mincy's fifth-highest point total this season and her 16th game in double figures.
Tianna Hawkins scored 18 points on seven-for-seven shooting and was perfect from the line (4-4). It is the second time this season Hawkins shot 100 percent from the field and the fourth time in the last five games Hawkins was perfect from the free throw line.
