After holding Brown to a season-best 36 points, the Terps held Hartford to 40 points, which is tied for the second-lowest opponent total of the season, and held the Hawks to 27.1 percent shooting.
The Terps continued to flex their muscle on the glass outrebounding the Hawks 50-28, 14 of which came on the offensive boards. Maryland cashed in with 20 second-chance points. The Terps have outrebounded their opponents in all 12 games this season and 45 of 48 games dating back to last season.
For the fifth time this season, the Terps received double-doubles from two or more players in the same game with Alicia DeVaughn and Alyssa Thomas starring for Maryland against Hartford.

Tianna Hawkins for the team lead, and her fifth double-double in the last six games.
Alicia DeVaughn finished with 13 points and a season-high 13 rebounds for her second double-double of the season and fourth of her career.
Tianna Hawkins scored 16 points to surpass the 1,200 career point mark. The senior has scored 1,208 points over her four years in College Park, which ranks 24th all-time. Hawkins also added nine rebounds to tie Laura Harper for sixth all-time with 873 career rebounds.
Tierney Pfirman scored 11 points and grabbed a career-best eight rebounds. It is Pfirman's fourth double-digit scoring effort of the season.
