• Tonight's starting line-up featured all three Terrapin seniors playing in their final regular season home game at the Comcast Center.
• After Alicia DeVaughn's layup 53 seconds into the first half to give the Terrapins a 2-1 lead, the Terps led the rest of the way.
• The Terps got a balanced scoring effort as nine Maryland players recorded at least two points and three recorded double figures.
• Maryland shot lights out from three, draining 8 of 10 attempts, including 6 of 7 in the first half to help build their lead. The Terrapins' 3-point field goal percentage (.800) was their highest since Dec. 9, 2007, at home against Temple (1.000, 2-2).
• The Terps outscored the Tar Heels 40-22 in the paint and scored 18 second chance points.
• The Terps shot out to an early advantage, leading 30-10 with under eight minutes to play in the first half.
• The Terps outrebounded the Tar Heels 49-32. Maryland has won the battle of the boards in 26 of 28 games this season, and dating back to last year has outrebounded its opponents in 55 of the last 61 games.

Individual Game Notes
Alyssa Thomas finished with 20 points and 14 rebounds for her seventh double-double of the season. The sophomore also dished out 7 assists.
Laurin Mincy scored 13 points and on a perfect 5-5 night from the floor, including three three's.
Kim Rodgers recorded a season-high nine points, and a season-high five rebounds.
Alicia DeVaughn scored 14 points on 7-of-10 shooting.
