COLLEGE PARK, Md. - The Maryland men's tennis team returns home following a four-match road trip to take on ACC-rival Boston College Friday, March 15 at 2:30 p.m., and No. 31 Oklahoma Sunday, March 17 at noon. Both matches will be played at the Cole Field House Courts.

Maryland
Senior Maros Horny has played nine matches at the No. 1 spot and is 3-6 at the position in dual play, while freshman Vlad Stefan has occupied No. 2 for the past six matches. Stefan is 3-3 at the spot and 4-5 overall in dual action.

Junior John Collins has split time at No. 3 and No. 4 singles. Collins is a combined 2-5 at the two positions. Junior Sergio Wyss is 1-2 at No. 3.

Junior Andy Magee has occupied the No. 4 position for the majority of the spring season. Magee is 2-7 overall and 1-3 at the position.

At No. 5, junior Tommy Laine is 3-3, while junior Jesse Kiuru is 4-1 at the No. 6 spot.

In doubles, the 36th-ranked tandem of Horny and Collins is 8-3 in dual action, and have won 5 of 6 matches.

Laine and Stefan are 4-2 at No. 2 doubles and Kiuru and Magee are 5-2 at No. 3.

Last Time Out
No. 39 Baylor defeated the Terps (3-8, 0-2 ACC) 5-2. Stefan knocked off No. 82 Roberto Maytin in three sets and Wyss earned his first victory of the season at No. 3. Wyss beat Diego Galeano, 6-3, 3-6, 10-2.

The Eagles have dropped 3 of 4 matches all against ranked opposition, but are coming in following a win over Villanova.

BC is 19-29 in singles action this spring. Akash Muppidi has played 7 of 10 matches at No. 1 and is 3-4. Alex Skinner is 1-5 at the No. 2 spot and Billy Grokenberger is 1-4 at No. 3.

In doubles, Muppidi has paired with Grokenberger and Skinner to go a combined 4-1 at the No. 1 position.

Oklahoma features four players ranked in the top 125 led by 15-ranked Costin Paval. Peerakit Siributwong is ranked 67th, Dane Webb is ranked 78th, and Tsvetan Mihov is No. 103.

In doubles, Paval and Webb are ranked 18th and Mihov and Siributwong are 68th.
