Team Records and Series Notes 
• Today's match up is the first-ever meeting between the Terps and Aggies.
• It is Maryland's eighth trip to the regional final and fourth under head coach Brenda Frese. The Terps last appearance came in 2009 in Raleigh.
• Maryland is now 8-1 all-time in regional semifinal games.
• The Terps play the winner of second-seeded Notre Dame and fifth-seeded St. Bonaventure Tuesday at 9 p.m. for a spot in the Final Four.

Maryland Team Game Notes 
• Starting Lineup: Anjale Barrett, Alicia DeVaughn, Tianna Hawkins, Laurin Mincy, Alyssa Thomas.
• Maryland turned up the defense in the second half and came away with seven second-half steals and forced nine Texas A&M turnovers after the Aggies turned it over five times in the first half.
Game of Runs: Trailing by as much as 18 points in the first half, Brene Moseley sparked a 21-6 Maryland run over the final 6:04 of the first half to cut the Aggie lead to three. In the second half, the Terps used a 19-4 run over the last 9:21 to clinch the win.
Working the Boards:  Maryland outrebounded Texas A&M 42-30 and has outrebounded its opponents in 33 of 35 games this season. During the Terps run to close the opening half, Maryland outrebounded Texas A&M 10-1.
Second Servings: The Terps used their advantage on the glass to score 18 second-chance points to Texas A&M's five.

Maryland Individual Game Notes 
Great Night for Firsts: Laurin Mincy tallied her first career double-double with 21 points and a career-high 12 rebounds. Mincy has scored in double-figures in 7 of the last 9 games.
Alyssa Thomas finished with 21 points for her 30th double-figure scoring effort of the season and missed her 20th career double-double by one rebound. Thomas passed Vicky Bullett for the ninth-most points in a single season. Thomas has 584 points this year.
Lynetta Kizer scored 15 points off of the bench and snagged six rebounds. It is Kizer's 96th career double-figure scoring game and 21st of the season. Kizer now has made 592 career field goals which is tied for 11th all-time with Chequita Wood.
• Tiana Hawkins and Mincy were both perfect from the free throw line and combined to go 9 for 9 from the charity stripe.
• With her single block tonight, Hawkins moved into a tie for seventh all-time with Christy Winters with 91 blocks.
