Women's Soccer Defeats No. 13 James Madison
COLLEGE PARK, Md. - Maryland's women's soccer team ran its record to2-0 tonight by defeating No. 13 James Madison (0-2).
Junior defender Abby Bausman (Glen Arm, MD) scored her first career goal offof an assist from senior forward Michelle Deville (Chevy Chase, MD) to open thescoring 13:22 into the game. Junior forward Emmy Harbo (Baton Rouge, LA) scoredher first goal of the season 37:31 into the game with an assist from juniorforward Keri Sarver (Masillion, Ohio). Harbo's goal was the 35th of her career,which tops Maryland's all-time list.
Maryland's defense surrendered only four shots from James Madison. FreshmanAlli Wolff (Ricmond, VA) collected two saves in her first appearance of hercareer.
The Terps will be in Williamsburg, VA on Sunday afternoon to take on No. 19William & Mary at 2:00.
