The Atlantic Coast Conference
The Atlantic Coast Conference is home to some of the finest student-athletes, teams and coaches in the nation. The outstanding league competition in all sports brings out the best in the student-athletes at Maryland.

In cross country, three women’s teams finished among the top 20 in the nation at the 2012 NCAA National Championships, led by Florida State’s fourth-place finish behind only Oregon, Providence and Stanford.
