Maryland Improves to 9-0 With Victory Over Lafayette

COLLEGE PARK, Md. - Keith Booth had 28 points and 21st-ranked Maryland used a huge first half to extend its winning streak to nine games with an easy 108-67 dispatching of Lafayette.

Booth, who has scored 95 points in his last four games, had 16 in the first half as the Terrapins (9-0) raced to a 54-27 lead. Maryland's start is the third-best in school history and the Terrapins remain one of 12 unbeaten teams in Division I.

The win was also Maryland's 27th straight at home in December. It hasn't dropped a non-conference game at home since December 12th, 1989 -- a span of 52 games.

Mike Homer scored 22 points to lead Lafayette (4-5), which began a six-game road trip.
