Before Maryland: Competed with World Cup All Stars from 2007-2010 and Star Athletics from 2004-2007...served as captain of World Cup Shooting Stars for 2009-2010 season...team won Worlds in 2008 and 2009, as well as NCA Nationals in 2010...UCA National Champions in 2008, 2009, 2010...Cheersport National Champions in 2009...named World Cup's Best Back Spot in 2009...competed as a USGA gymnast from 1998-2004...National Honor Society member.
Personal: Colby Rae Salmon...daughter of Donald Salmon and Jane Raso Salmon...has three siblings, Shaun Elizabeth, DJ and Cooper...Shaun Elizabeth graduated from Maryland in 2008 and DJ plays soccer at St. Joseph's...came to Maryland for competitive cheer team and great academics...also recruited by Quinnipiac...drinks iced coffee with skim milk before competition...wants to work in physical therapy or by a physician's assistant.
