NCATA All-American (2011)
NCATA Event Champion (Aerial Pass, 2011)
In 2010-11:
Named an NCATA All-American ...won the NCATA Event Championship in the aerial pass heat (April 9)...competed in the six-element tumbling pass heat in the first two meets of the year, then switched to compete in the aerial pass heat...competed in the duo basket toss heat in all 10 meets...group earned an NCATA record score of 9.87 vs. Oregon (March 24)...also competed in the six-element stunt heat in all 10 meets...that group earned a season-high score of 9.59 in the NCATA Finals (April 9)...member of team that went 8-0 during the regular season and advanced to NCATA championship.
At Maryland: Member of 2009 Cheersport championship team and NCA second place team...also on 2010 NCA National Grand Championship team and Cheersport runner-up team...named to ACC's Academic Honor Roll in 2010.
Before Maryland: Cheered for Twisters F5 and Cheer Tyme All Stars at different points in her career ... transferred from Gardner-Webb University ... was on four NCA national championship teams from 2002 thru 2006 ... was COA Individual national champion ... team won world championships in 2005 ... team won state championships from 2000 thru 2008 ... was on honor roll all through school.
Personal: Season Nicole Daugherty ... parents are Janice and Wiliam Daugherty ... has one brother, Chris ... enjoys crafting and arts, playing video games, racquetball and flag football ... taught cheer camps and tumbling over the summer ... chose Maryland because it's a wonderful school with an awesome cheerleading team and program...elementary education major.
