As a Freshman: Indoor- Competed in the Maryland and Terrapin invitationals in the 800 meter run…season-best time of 2:08.21 set at Maryland Invitational…Outdoor- Ran in the 1,500 and 5,000 meter runs…set season-best time in the 5,000 at the ACC Championships (15:33.83)…finished eighth in the 5,000 at the Maryland Invitational.
Before Maryland: Won varsity letters in cross country, track and swimming at Good Counsel High School in Wheaton, Md….junior cross country team held a 212-0 record and a national ranking in the top 25…team ranked first in the D.C. metro area and in Maryland…cross country team won the conference team championships three times…was selected all-conference in track and was MVP of his team during his senior year…named all-county for cross country his senior year…participated in the National Honor Society…was in the top 10 of his graduating class with a 4.5 GPA…won the George Washington School of Engineering and Applied Science medal.
