As a Freshman: Indoor- Finished fourth in the triple jump and seventh in the long jump at the Maryland Invitational…season-best long jump of 17-9.25 set at the ACC Championships…Outdoor- Took second in the long jump at the VCU Ram Invitational with a season-best distance of 18-9.25…finished fifth in the long jump at the Patriot Open…ran to a sixth-place finish in the 100 meter dash at the VCU Ram Invitational.

Before Maryland: Varsity letterwinner in track & field for four years … set the current record for the Day-Time Arcadia Meet in the 200 meters at 24.81 and was awarded the MVP award for that meet in 2000 … was awarded a National Scholar Athlete Award and Best Jumper Award from her school in 2001 … named an All-American in the sprint medley in 2002 … NCS long jump champion in 2002 … 2002 champion in the 100 meters, triple jump and long jump at the Meet of Champions … was team captain in 2002 … best prep marks: 11.88 in 100 meters, 24.73 in 200 meters, 18-11 in the long jump and 38-11 in the triple jump … currently holds her high school’s records in the 100 and 200 meter sprints, triple jump, long jump, 4x100, 4x200 and 4x400 meter relays and the sprint medley … also lettered two years in basketball.
