As a Freshman: Indoor- Competed in the 60 and 200 meter dashes…ran season-best time in the 200 meter dash at the Maryland Invitational…Outdoor- Ran in three meets for the Terps, running the 100 and 200 meter dashes…set season-best time in the 100 at the VCU Ram Invitational.

Before Maryland: Four-year letterwinner in track … 4x100 state champion in 1999, 2000, 2001 and 2002 … second team all-conference in the 100 meters in 2001 and in the 200 meters in 2002 … regional champion in the 4x200 meter relay in 2001 and 2002 … 4x100 meter relay team received recognition from the board of education in 2002 … top prep marks: 12.2 in 100 meters, 25.5 in 200 meters, 48.8 in 4x100 meter relay and 1:44.9 in 4x200 meter relay.
