2000: Began the season with back-to-back wins over non-conference opponents at the No. 3 position … was undefeated at the No. 2 doubles spot when playing with teammate Peter Harjes … suffered from a re-occurring shoulder injury that limited his playing time … one of four teammates to earn Scholar Athlete accolades for having a GPA of at least a 3.0 for either the 1999 fall or spring semester … was a member of the team awarded the President's Cup for having the highest team GPA at Maryland.

Fall 1999: Advanced to the semifinal round of the Flight A backdraw doubles bracket with Chris Chiu at the NC State Wolfpack Invitational … playing with teammate Luan Nguyen, he advanced to the quarterfinals of the Flight A Doubles main draw at the D.C. Metro Invitational.

1999: Compiled a 4-0 non-conference record in singles play … played in 11 straight matches before being retired for the season due to injury… member of team that received the President's Cup award for having the highest team GPA at Maryland.

Fall 1998: Compiled a 3-3 doubles record playing with Luan Nguyen … with Nguyen advanced to the Flight B Doubles main draw quarterfinals at the D.C. Metro Invitational … advanced to the quarterfinals of the Flight C singles backdraw at the NC State Wolfpack Invitational.

Before Maryland: Attended New York's Orchard Park High School … lettered in tennis all four years … went undefeated in regular season action all four years … was named MVP every year as well.
