Back for his second season as assistant coach, Jon Neeter is excited for the opportunity to continue his involvement with the Maryland tennis program. After playing collegiately two years at the University of Connecticut, the New Jersey native transferred to the University of Maryland in 2000 where he completed his playing eligibility.
As assistant director of the Nike Tough Training Center in Orlando, Florida, Neeter trained players ranked as high as the top ten in the nation. He also trained players with professional rankings on the satellite pro tour.
In addition to serving as assistant coach for Maryland throughout the season, Neeter coaches privately in the Baltimore/Washington area.
