Ogbogu, Hull Named to All-Academic Football Team

GREENSBORO, N.C.-- Atlantic Coast Commissioner John Swofford named Maryland's Eric Ogbogu (Sr., 6-4, 256, Irvington, N.Y./Archbishop Stepinac) and Mike Hull (Fr.*,6-6,244, Hagerstown, Md./South Hagerstown) to the 1997 ACC All-Academic football team today.
Ogbogu, recently named South MVP of the 1998 Hula Bowl, posted a 3.25 GPA in business management for the fall semester. He led the team in sacks the last three years and finished fifth in school history with 18.5 career sacks.
Redshirt freshman Mike Hull earned a 3.22 GPA in business management last semester. Last season the tight end hauled in 13 receptions last for 111 yards and his first career touchdown.
